Senior Manager, Apparel Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Apparel Designer to join our team. As a Senior Manager, Apparel Designer, you will be responsible for creating designs exclusively for Private Brands and developing trend strategies that support the Walmart Apparel Strategic Business Unit (SBU) merchandising goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Create designs exclusively for Private Brands.
- Develop trend strategies that support the Walmart Apparel Strategic Business Unit (SBU) merchandising goals.
- Assure that Walmart's private brand DNA/guidelines, trends, aesthetic/style, quality and value all support the customer's needs and lead the market.
- Set the brand's seasonal fashion direction and align with broader Walmart strategies.
- Help ensure merchant leadership is aligned with the creative direction and assortment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years' experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.
- Cross-functional project management, Master's degree in liberal arts or relevant field.
