Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Itasca, IL. As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students to help them overcome communication and speech challenges, ensuring they have the support they need to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on the specific needs of each student.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations for student progress.
  • Educate students, families, and staff on communication strategies and techniques to support speech and language development.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Illinois state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • Experience in a school-based setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
