We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Diesel Technician II to join our team at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive. As a leading provider of on-site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide, we offer a unique opportunity for individuals to work with a variety of light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • Conduct minor adjustments and repairs on various types of truck equipment, including electrical, brake, and cooling systems.
  • Manage parts inventory and equipment provided on company-issued service trucks and perform periodic reconciliation.
  • Maintain and operate company-issued service vehicles, conduct safety checks, and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and customers to assess their needs and provide information or assistance.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED and up to 2 years' experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment.
  • Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
