Job Title: Mobile Diesel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team at Ryder System. As a Mobile Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on trucks, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair issues with diesel engines, including advanced skilled level repairs
  • Coordinate work schedule with customers and ensure quality of repair work performed
  • Interact with customers to facilitate preventative maintenance, repair issue resolution, and discuss new repair estimates
Requirements:
  • Three (3) years or more relevant work experience, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred
  • NonCommercial Driver License CLASS E, preferred
  • Able to take home assigned mobile service truck, as applicable, and secure vehicle and contents
  • Must be able to drive Ryder vehicles
