We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Assembly Technician to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the assembly and manufacturing of windows and door walls.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor, Michigan. The estimated salary range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00 per hour, with opportunities for annual raises based on performance.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling various materials, including vinyl, glass, and other components.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble windows and door walls, ensuring high-quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
- Operate machinery, saws, and welding equipment (when applicable)
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Knowledge of hand tools and basic manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to stand for extended periods and work in a variety of temperatures
