Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Assemblage Technician to join our team at Noren Thermal Solutions in Taylor, Texas. The successful candidate will have basic knowledge in electrical, industrial, and/or manufacturing assembly and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role- Piece together different types of raw and manufactured products into final finished parts.
- Use written and verbal instructions to learn how to assemble products. Use hands or machines to complete projects.
- May perform wiring and soldering in the assembly of electrical components.
- Work at different work stations as production needs require.
- Meet or exceed all team production goals on a consistent basis.
- Maintain and support the Company's ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System procedures and documentation.
- Adhere to safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Understand measurements in inches and millimeters.
- Able to lift up to 30lbs frequently and occasionally 50lbs with assistance if needed.
- Be able to stand for extended periods throughout their shift.
- Able to read, write, and speak English and follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
- Experience using Microsoft WORD and EXCEL, even better if you have experience with an ERP
- Experience with wiring and soldering electrical components is a plus
- Experience driving a Forklift is a plus but not required.
- Experience brazing or welding is a plus but not required.
The estimated salary for this position is between $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. After successfully completing the introductory period, the company provides medical benefits, paid holidays, accrued PTO, company outings, company-wide food events, and a 401(k) is available.
