Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Project Manager to join our team at Kleinfelder. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing environmental compliance projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of environmental compliance projects, including project planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, project team members, and regulatory agencies.
  • Provide high-quality assurance and control through review of project deliverables.
  • Mentor and manage junior staff and project-level compliance professionals.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies with existing and new clients.
  • Provide health and safety support for projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum of years of related compliance experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of consulting project management experience with multi-disciplinary environmental compliance projects.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulatory agency laws, regulations, and permitting requirements.
  • Experience in air quality permit applications and reporting, wastewater permit applications, monitoring, and reporting, and other environmental compliance areas.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Engineering, Environmental Science, or other related field. Advanced degree(s) preferred.
  • California State QISP, QSP/QSD, ToR, WPCM, and/or CPP certifications preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Position Conditions
  • This position is performed in an office and field environment.
  • Candidate must pass a medical surveillance that includes drug screening.
  • Ability to lift up to lbs.
  • Up to % of time may be dedicated to field activities in varying environmental conditions.
  • Some night and weekend work may be required for this position.
  • May periodically require travel and stays outside of the greater Los Angeles area.
