Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions about various cuts and preparation of products.
  • Meat Department Maintenance: Keep meat department cases well-stocked and appealing to meet customer demand, ensuring that meat is fresh, in saleable condition, and properly priced.
  • Product Handling: Handle product that is spoiled, damaged, or close to expiration, following company procedures and standards.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in minimizing shrink and controlling damages, reporting shortages or overages to management.
  • Team Collaboration: Cooperate with co-workers and superiors to ensure smooth function of the department and store.
Requirements
  • Education: Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
