Job Summary:
Traffic Planning and Design, Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the required standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of construction work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Document all on-site observations and measurements on a Daily Inspection Report.
- Measure and record quantities for payment.
- Prepare as-built drawings.
- Serve as on-site project representative.
Requirements:
- At least one or more of the following certifications are preferred: ACI, NJSAT, TCC or CCTC.
- NICET Certification: II-IV is preferred.
- EIT or B.S. in Civil Engineering is a plus (not required).
- Experience with bridge construction is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and meet multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Driver's License.
