As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our clients by providing high-quality attractions that enhance their events.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Reporting:
- Supervise the generation of precise and timely financial statements.
- Reconcile all bank accounts at month-end.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage and oversee all transactions.
- Employee Benefits Management:
- Administer health insurance, profit sharing, and health savings accounts.
- Payroll Administration:
- Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for comprehensive payroll services.
- Credit Card Transactions:
- Gather receipts from employees and categorize them in QuickBooks.
- Tax Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns.
- Prepare annual reports for city taxes and file quarterly taxes.
- Generate W-2 forms for employees and 1099 forms for subcontractors.
- Insurance Audits:
- Prepare annual audits for Workman's Comp and Liability policies.
- Collect necessary certificates of insurance.
- A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience with QuickBooks and Excel.
- Experience in the entertainment, hospitality, travel, or related sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to identify financial challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Operate with integrity, ensuring ethical financial practices and compliance with legal standards.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to current systems for accurate financial reporting.
- Basic understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and regulations.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
