Source EQ is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our mobile team. As a key member of our team, you will provide therapeutic services to children and adolescents in the foster care system.
About the Role
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You will work with clients aged 11-21 who are experiencing mental health disorders or co-occurring substance abuse issues. Our team utilizes a comprehensive approach to address the needs of our clients and their caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and coordinate with relevant parties to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain knowledge of involuntary psychiatric evaluation procedures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Schedule and coordinate individual and family therapy sessions to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Develop and maintain a list of community providers for referral services, ensuring seamless transitions for our clients.
- Regularly follow up and report progress to relevant parties, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Provide primary therapeutic services to up to 15 youth, delivering high-quality care and support.
Requirements
- A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
- A current Florida LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensure.
- At least two years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families in providing therapeutic mental health and/or substance use services.
- A valid Florida driver's license.
