We are looking for a skilled Housekeeping Team Leader who will oversee and evaluate the operations of the Housekeeping department. This role involves assisting the Executive Housekeeper in ensuring that all guest accommodations and communal spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Engage with guests and team members in a friendly and service-oriented manner, maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Foster a supportive and respectful work atmosphere by effectively managing and resolving conflicts.
  • Ensure that all Housekeeping staff adhere to company policies regarding uniforms and personal grooming.
  • Stay informed about daily occupancy rates, special requests, and VIP guest needs.
  • Collaborate with the front desk to manage room assignments, VIP guests, and special requirements.
  • Distribute keys, room assignments, and cleaning schedules to the housekeeping team at the start of each shift and ensure their return at the end of the day.
  • Monitor the work of room attendants, laundry staff, and maintenance to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and recreational facilities to uphold cleanliness and aesthetic standards.
  • Strive to meet or exceed company standards for guest services, decor, and housekeeping operations.
  • Manage inventory levels of stationery, linens, and amenities to maintain consistent service quality.
  • Oversee the organization and cleanliness of Room Attendants' carts, linen closets, and common areas.
  • Organize training sessions and meetings as necessary.
  • Educate staff on addressing guest inquiries regarding hotel policies and services while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or laundry within the hospitality sector is preferred.
  • Previous experience in team leadership is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
