Job Title: Training & Org Dev Manager

Heritage Family Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Training & Org Dev Manager to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs that address the needs of employees at all levels, including onboarding, compliance, leadership development, and skills enhancement.
  • Utilize best practices in instructional design to create engaging and effective learning experiences, including e-learning modules, workshops, and training materials tailored to diverse learning styles and in-person and remote working arrangements.
  • Assist with coordinating, preparing, and conducting new employee onboarding and training programs to staff at all levels of the organization, both in person and via virtual platforms.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify training needs and gaps within the organization, and collaborate with department heads to tailor programs that meet specific team and organizational objectives.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, gather feedback, and analyze data to continuously improve training offerings and organizational development initiatives.
  • Lead training sessions and workshops, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and technologies to engage participants and enhance learning experiences.
  • Oversee the training team, ensure employee engagement & professional development goals are met, and manage the training department's resources responsibly.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a High School education required; Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years professional experience as Learning and Development Manager or in a similar role required; prior professional experience in human resources and banking preferred.
  • Dynamic communicator with strong interpersonal skills, culturally competent, and emotionally intelligent.
  • Experience in designing and delivering both traditional and digital learning solutions, including e-learning platforms and virtual training tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive decision-making and measure training effectiveness.
