Medical Screener

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Screener to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors by conducting thorough health screenings and registration procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct health screenings and registration procedures for donors, including assessing self-administered health history, answering medical questions, and performing health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature.
- Ensure accurate recording of donor data in our electronic donor information management system.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors, answering their questions and addressing their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient donor experience.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work environment, ensuring sufficient operating supplies and forms are available as needed.
- Follow all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment.
- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Occasionally perform tasks while standing and walking up to 100% of the time.
- Reach, bend, kneel, and have a high level of manual dexterity.
- Occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Frequently exposed to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and to blood-borne pathogens.
