About BioLife Plasma Services

We are a leading provider of plasma-based therapies, and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Screener. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and patients.

Job Summary

The Medical Screener will be responsible for conducting medical histories, taking vital signs, and screening donors for eligibility to donate plasma. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and coordinating donor compensation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical histories and take vital signs of donors
  • Screen donors for eligibility to donate plasma
  • Maintain accurate records and coordinate donor compensation
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors and patients
  • Work collaboratively with the medical team to ensure the safety and well-being of donors and patients
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a healthcare or medical setting
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
