Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager, Business Renewals is a key role within Macmillan's Inside Sales team, responsible for driving sales growth and exceeding annual financial and net sales goals within a defined region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Inside Account Managers to achieve sales targets
  • Develop and execute a business plan to maximize sales potential of Macmillan products in the assigned region
  • Analyze sales territories, identify opportunities, and implement strategies to improve sales performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, editorial, and customer success, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Provide regular communication and coaching to direct reports, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to succeed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a sales leadership role
  • Strong communication, data analysis, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other sales tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Publishing experience, particularly in sales and marketing
  • Management experience, with a focus on team leadership and development
