Position Overview

ARTECHOUSE is a pioneering immersive art venue that combines cutting-edge technology with artistic expression. We are in search of a seasoned bartender with leadership capabilities or aspirations to take on the role of Lead Bartender. This is a full-time opportunity that involves direct collaboration with the location leader and bar management.

ABOUT YOU

As the Lead Bartender, you will not only craft beverages but also oversee the shift, ensuring the venue is closed properly. Ideal candidates should possess over 3 years of bartending experience and demonstrate accountability to the standards and procedures established by the management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In-depth knowledge of craft cocktail preparation
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities
  • Accountability for adherence to bar and gallery protocols
  • Maintain daily operational standards and procedures
  • Supervise daily bar setup, ensuring timely and proper execution
  • Conduct inventory checks of produce and supplies
  • Review the daily exhibit schedule and communicate it to bartenders
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar post-closing
  • Manage inventory of spirits, wine, beer, and supplies
  • Supervise closing procedures and be the last to leave the venue

CORE QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Minimum of 3 years bartending experience
  • At least 1 year of management experience in a full-service bar setting
  • Basic proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Food Manager's license or willingness to obtain one
  • Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work until midnight, five nights a week
  • Flexible scheduling
