Fleet Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

At Inframark, we are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join our team working on Fort Moore. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Respond to emergency calls for roadside assistance and provide timely repairs
  • Install, check, and repair electrical components, hydraulic hoses, and other equipment
  • Fabricate and replace metal parts using welding equipment
Requirements:
  • 5 years of related experience in automotive mechanics or a closely related field
  • High School Diploma or GED and the equivalent of one year of college or specialized vocational training
  • Valid state commercial driver's license and meet minimum driving standards
Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing. The employee must be able to use hands to operate and manipulate tools and equipment. This position requires very heavy physical exertion including the ability to lift over 50 pounds and exert over 100 pounds of force on a regular basis.

The employee must be willing to work non-standard and overtime hours as required. The position requires normal visual acuity and field of vision, hearing, and depth perception.
