Job Summary

As a Postpartum/Transition Newborn RN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of St. Vincent's Medical Center.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Coordinate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Assess and document patient condition, identifying physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and age-related needs.
  • Delegate tasks to other nursing personnel to maximize staff performance and meet patient needs.
  • Participate in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
  • One year of Labor & Delivery/NICU experience or two years of Medical-Surgical, Critical Care, ICU, or Emergency Department experience.
