Are you prepared to advance your career with a top-tier national general contractor? Christman Facility Solutions is seeking a Plumbing/Mechanical Estimator in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex area. This position will require collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve successful project results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precisely estimate plumbing and mechanical project scopes within commercial and industrial sectors utilizing digital take-off software.
  • Examine plans and specifications, create bid documents/proposals, and participate in pre/post-bid meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to improve project efficiency.
  • Support project management activities as necessary, including budgeting and vendor selection.
  • Keep bid lists updated, manage material cost databases, and communicate bid qualifications to relevant parties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent certification from a trade school.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Trimble - Auto Bid Software.
  • Familiarity with plumbing, HVAC, and boiler codes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in team environments.
  • Experience with Procore is advantageous.
