Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to join our team at Christman Facility Solutions. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in managing project assignments, developing cost leadership strategies, and providing leadership in preparing estimate deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor Estimators and Estimating Engineers to ensure high-quality estimates and timely project delivery.
  • Develop and oversee conceptual estimates for assigned projects, supporting the planning and engineering groups in the development of all levels of estimates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with material suppliers, equipment vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and other clients.
  • Lead major estimating efforts, ensuring accurate and comprehensive estimates that meet client expectations.
  • Develop and clarify estimate reports, providing clear and concise information to stakeholders.
  • Cultivate strong subcontractor knowledge and relations, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Present estimating results to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project details and timelines.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all civil structure architectural trades, with a strong understanding of estimating software programs and on-screen take-off.
  • Lead value engineering efforts, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve project efficiency.
  • Drive deadlines and achieve results, ensuring timely project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain mastery of scope review process, ensuring accurate and comprehensive project documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve estimating processes and project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Eight (8) years of estimating experience in construction or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
