This position will require effective collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve successful project results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precisely estimate plumbing and mechanical project scopes within commercial and industrial sectors utilizing digital take-off software.
- Analyze plans and specifications, prepare bid documents and proposals, and participate in pre/post-bid meetings.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to optimize project efficiency.
- Support project management activities as necessary, including budgeting and vendor selection processes.
- Keep bid lists updated, maintain material cost databases, and communicate bid qualifications to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent certification from a trade school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Trimble - Auto Bid Software.
- Familiarity with plumbing, HVAC, and boiler codes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in team environments.
- Experience with Procore is advantageous.
