Job Overview

Rubenstein Law, P.A. is a premier injury firm in Florida and expanding to New York. We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary

The Legal Assistant will work closely with our attorneys, handling cases in the Pre-Litigation phase while maintaining open communication with clients, providers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact daily with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Research and locate potential defendants and insurance coverage.
  • Request and follow up on gathering supporting documents, including police reports, 911 calls, insurance policies, medical records, bills, and liens.
  • Review, upload, and process daily correspondence via email, fax, or our paperless software.
  • Schedule and maintain attorney calendars.
  • Attend client meetings with attorneys.
  • Ensure cases are updated with all necessary information, including treatment details, record gathering, insurance confirmations, and billing purposes.
  • Prepare demands and closing statements.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish (plus, but not required).
  • One year minimum office experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong multitasking skills, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work at a fast pace with a high case volume.
