Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate outstanding guest service skills and exercise sound judgment in challenging situations.
  • Directly supervise and support slot team members within the designated area.
  • Ensure high levels of guest service are maintained by monitoring team performance.
  • Verify and initiate hand-paid jackpots as required.
  • Assist in conducting performance evaluations for team members.
  • Recommend and implement management strategies as necessary.
  • Support the Slot Shift Manager in scheduling team members for shifts.
  • Maintain an effective daily schedule for the assigned area and recommend adjustments for optimal coverage.
  • Safeguard funds and equipment during the assigned shift.
  • Distribute equipment to slot team members as needed.
  • Report all relevant situations to the Slot Shift Manager.
  • Exhibit strong decision-making skills, motivate team members, and demonstrate effective supervisory abilities.
  • Adhere to all internal controls and operational policies.
  • Foster excellent guest relations consistently.
  • Engage positively with guests and team members, demonstrating tact and patience.
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms to uphold a professional image.
  • Address practical problems and navigate various situations with limited standardization.
  • Interpret diverse instructions provided in various formats.
  • Prepare reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals as needed.
  • Present information effectively and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, guests, and the public.
  • Maintain a reliable work schedule in accordance with business needs and uphold consistent attendance.
  • Complete special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Be prepared to stand and walk for the majority of the shift, working in potentially noisy and warm conditions, and perform physical tasks as required.

  • Undertake special projects and other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of six months to one year of experience in slot operations is required.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Combination of education, experience, and training that provides the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods and navigate the casino floor during shifts.
  • Capable of moving quickly within a busy environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.
  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Must obtain and maintain a valid gaming commission license.
  • Required to undergo drug and alcohol testing with negative results.
