As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer within the Solution Platform team, your mission will be to architect the next generation of solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with engineering teams to create systems and user experiences that empower our customers to streamline their workflows using our platform and develop comprehensive solutions for various sectors including finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development teams to design scalable and resilient systems leveraging cloud technologies.
  • Implement automation strategies using industry-standard tools to manage numerous services efficiently.
  • Maintain a high level of service availability across our offerings.
  • Identify and troubleshoot infrastructure bottlenecks and issues.
  • Develop observability frameworks and incident management protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the industry.
  • Proficient in infrastructure as code practices, particularly with Terraform.
  • Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk and New Relic.
  • 6+ years of experience in Linux system administration.

You are a software engineer adept at applying engineering principles to operational challenges. You possess a broad range of technical skills and are eager to explore new tools and methodologies. You work closely with fellow developers and operations teams to devise optimal solutions. Your focus is on identifying patterns to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, optimize costs, and ensure performance at scale.

  • Designing systems with a focus on reliability and failure management.

  • Utilizing automation and aggregation tools to manage server environments rather than direct access.
  • Being a facilitator of progress rather than a barrier.
  • Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, securing, and optimizing cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in providing technical expertise for cloud service design and optimization.
  • At least 2 years of software development experience.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
