Role Responsibilities and Qualifications

We are looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our outpatient surgery center. Under the supervision of a physician, you will conduct various diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols to ensure positive patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare necessary supplies and positioning aids based on the physician's preferences.
  • Test and monitor equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Accurately document records and adhere to approved policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all individuals in the procedure room are properly shielded before activating x-ray equipment.
  • Communicate patient status to other healthcare staff involved in care.
  • Maintain instruments and equipment by following cleaning, storage, and calibration protocols.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited radiology program.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferably in a surgical setting.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
