Position: Clinical Nursing Supervisor
Work Location: Alameda County, CA
Available Shift:
- On Call; Shift Hours and Days may vary as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe and appropriate delivery of medical treatments as directed by the physician
- Organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks during the assigned shift
- Oversee designated nursing staff
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments
- Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients
- Participate in community meetings and group activities
- Coordinate patient admissions and engage in treatment planning sessions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist in the restraint of clients when necessary due to aggressive behavior
- Develop and execute individualized nursing care plans
- Comply with medication management policies and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum age requirement
- Certification in CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of one year in a supervisory role
Essential Skills:
- Strong listening abilities and attention to detail
- Quick comprehension of new concepts and their integration into daily practices
- Proficient in preparing concise summary reports
Physical Requirements:
- The role may require occasional sitting, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to a specified limit
- The position involves manual dexterity, repetition, and exposure to potential hazards such as Blood Borne Pathogens, Hospital Waste, and Chemical & Infectious materials.
