Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part Time Sales Associate to join our team at Lowe's. As a Part Time Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling customer transactions, and processing returns and exchanges.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment by restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of trash and recyclables.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and providing product information.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Less than 1 year of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
  • Less than 1 year of experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
  • 1 to 2 years of retail experience as a cashier.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, protection plans, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience as a head cashier.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience working in any department at a Lowe's retail store.
  • 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in any field, including directing, delegating, evaluating, training, and coaching employees.
