Position Overview:

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, communication, and record management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Casino.
  • Ensure the HR office environment is welcoming, organized, and well-maintained.
  • Provide a positive experience for all visitors, assisting with inquiries, application processes, and assessments.
  • Address team member inquiries and escalate issues as necessary for timely resolution.
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, data entry, report preparation, and supply management.
  • Assist in organizing talent auditions, performance evaluations, and onboarding sessions for new hires.
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal communications, including employee portals and informational postings.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with all team members, applicants, and guests.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement, wellness, and retention initiatives.
  • Exemplify superior guest service in alignment with departmental and organizational standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all company matters.
  • Coordinate the reservation of training facilities and necessary equipment.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in an HR support role.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with HR management systems and applicant tracking systems.
  • Preferred skills in facilitation and presentation.

Work Environment:

This position does not require travel. Due to the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry, flexibility in work hours is essential to meet the operational needs of the casino.
