About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at Ingersoll Rand. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment, including compressors and air quality systems. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide expert solutions to ensure their operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment, including compressors and air quality systems
  • Provide expert technical support to customers to ensure their operations run smoothly
  • Conduct safety assessments of working environments to identify potential hazards
  • Document service and installation activities by completing work orders and maintenance checklists
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial equipment installation, maintenance, and repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Advanced customer service skills, including conflict management and opportunity development/consulting
  • Candidates must provide their own tools
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations
