Job Summary:

Tender Greens is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our restaurant operations. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of our restaurant, including financial management, team leadership, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Optimize expenses and maintain profitability through effective cost control and inventory management.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, making adjustments as needed to meet business objectives.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
    • Foster a positive and motivating work environment that promotes guest satisfaction and employee engagement.
    • Manage team member relations, including conflict resolution and performance improvement plans.
  • Guest Satisfaction:
    • Ensure exceptional guest experiences through effective service delivery and quality control.
    • Monitor and address guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
    • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, including inventory management and waste reduction.
    • Oversee restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
    • Proven track record of success in financial management, team leadership, and guest satisfaction.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities.
  • Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment with exposure to heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually, plus bonus.
