Key Responsibilities
  1. Electrical Installation
    • Install, upgrade, and maintain electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
    • Follow blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  2. Maintenance and Repair
    • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues.
    • Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, such as short circuits and faulty wiring.
  3. Safety Compliance
    • Adhere to all safety guidelines, regulations, and codes applicable to electrical work.
    • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local building codes.
  4. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
    • Troubleshoot electrical problems using testing devices and diagnostic tools.
    • Develop effective solutions to resolve technical issues and ensure optimal system performance.
  5. Customer Interaction
    • Communicate with clients to understand their electrical needs and preferences.
    • Provide recommendations and guidance on electrical system upgrades and improvements.
  6. Cost Estimation
    • Prepare cost estimates for electrical installations and repairs.
  7. Record-Keeping
    • Create accurate records of materials used and services provided.
  8. Client Satisfaction
    • Ensure client satisfaction through timely and effective issue resolution, maintaining a positive and professional customer experience.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a maintenance or facilities management role.
  • Own tools and reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
