Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Houston Methodist Hospital is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform nuclear medicine procedures using radioactive substances to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, including sterile technique.
- Provide accurate explanations and instructions to patients and family members at an appropriate level.
- Follow safety standards and conduct all imaging procedures accordingly.
- Report near misses and errors promptly into the hospital's patient safety reporting system.
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
- ARRT-N, CNMT, or CMRT certification.
- BLS certification.
- Experience in nuclear medicine or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
