Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. As a key member of our direct patient care team, you will be responsible for completing a variety of routine to complex nuclear medicine procedures of high difficulty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, utilizing radioactive substances to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, providing direct assistance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section.
  • Three years' experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
