Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the BoosterPet medical team to deliver high-quality veterinary care while embodying our core values.
  • Perform triage and record vital signs for our patients under the guidance of our veterinarians.
  • Utilize technology effectively to enhance patient care.
  • Assist with urgent care services and wellness checks as required.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records within our practice management system.
  • Educate pet owners on health and wellness topics.
  • Work closely with veterinarians and technicians to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to protect pets, clients, and team members.
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed by veterinarians.
  • Maintain licensure as a medication clerk and manage medication verification.
  • Perform phlebotomy and administer injections as needed.
  • Ensure the comfort and safety of pets during examinations and treatments.
  • Assist at the front desk, welcoming clients and managing appointments.
  • Provide first aid in emergency situations.
  • Support technicians in the induction, monitoring, and recovery of anesthetized patients.
  • Conduct laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by sterilizing instruments and complying with health regulations.
  • Train new staff on operational standards.
  • Travel to various locations to support clinic staffing needs as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Experience in a veterinary setting is essential. A medication clerk license is preferred, and we are willing to assist in obtaining this if necessary. Candidates should be adaptable and eager to contribute to a growing organization.
