Member Services Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Services Representative. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience at our fitness center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage front desk activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, and assisting with membership sales and renewals.
  • Facilitate updates to member accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the club, including completing daily tasks and priority cleaning projects.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the club's operations and goals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for fitness and health.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues.
  • Strong listening and problem-solving skills, with the ability to empathize and resolve issues effectively.
Physical Demands:
  • Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals.
