We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Concierge Medicine team at the University of California, San Diego Health. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will serve as an extension of the Concierge Medicine Physician to provide same day or next day access to patients. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a personalized and coordinated medical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with direct patient care by following up on lab results, prescriptions refills, and coordination of referrals.
- Provide same day or next day access to patients in a concierge medicine setting.
- Work collaboratively with the Concierge Medicine Physician to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Manage patient load and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient delivery of care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members.
- Graduate from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- California Registered Nurse (RN) license, California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license, and Furnishing License Certification.
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) national board certification.
- BLS/CPR certification at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date.
- Minimum three (3) years of licensed work experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, Urgent Care, Express Care, and/or Concierge Medicine.
- Previous concierge medicine experience.
This role is located at the University of California, San Diego Health, a Magnet designated organization recognized for nursing excellence. Our Concierge Medicine Program in La Jolla is a state-of-the-art facility providing personalized and coordinated medical care using leading-edge medicine and technology.
