Customer Service Department Head

Hannaford Supermarkets is a leading retail chain with a rich history dating back to 1883. As Customer Service Department Head, you will be responsible for managing retail operations for assigned departments, making decisions that impact store associates, merchandise quality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment to retain associates and customers
- Ensure all quality standards are met, including safety and food safety protocols
- Manage department operations in accordance with established standard practices
- Hire, train, and develop associates to meet department needs
- Attain departmental financial objectives, including sales and payroll management
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills. A strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques is essential. Department Manager or equivalent experience is required, and a college degree or equivalent is preferred.
