Job Summary

The Flight Paramedic plays a critical role in extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by providing high-quality patient care in the air medical environment. This position requires a high degree of independence, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in unpredictable situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced life support care to critically ill and injured patients in the air medical environment.
  • Collaborate with Flight Nurses and Pilots to ensure safe and efficient transport of patients.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in conjunction with Flight Nurses and Medical Directors.
  • Participate in public relations and education efforts to promote the Flight For Life program.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical protocols and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in a moderate to high-volume ALS setting.
  • Current paramedic certification by the State of Texas.
  • National Registry Paramedic certification strongly preferred.
  • ACLS and BLS certification required.
  • Emotional stability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
