Job Summary

The Flight Paramedic plays a critical role in extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by providing high-quality patient care in the air medical environment. This position requires a high degree of independence, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively in challenging out-of-hospital environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate transport operations and clinical care with the Flight Nurse and Pilot crew members.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Provide critical care to patients in the air medical environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in a moderate to high-volume ALS setting.
  • Current paramedic certification by the State of Texas.
  • National Registry Paramedic certification strongly preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Certification in a transport-specific critical care board certification (C-NPT, FP-C or CCP-C) is strongly preferred.
  • Previous flight or critical care transport experience highly preferred.
