Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project timelines, budgets, and procurement strategies for all special events on the resort campus.
  • Manage budget tracking, asset control, and timely reporting of special event performance and inventories.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure successful event execution.
  • Lead administrative efforts to ensure compliance with regulations and laws, participant satisfaction, and problem resolution.
  • Participate in annual budget preparation and provide supporting documentation as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Event Production, or related field, or 5 years of experience in event planning and coordination.
  • 3 years of experience in special events or fair and festival management, with hospitality or tourism management experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in event management is required.
  • Excellent leadership and people skills, with the ability to build and foster a team environment.
  • Valid state driver's license and ability to work in various weather conditions.
