Job Title: Military Family Support Specialist

The Magellan Health Services organization is seeking a highly skilled Military Family Support Specialist to join our team at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. As a vital member of our staff, you will provide critical support to military families with young children, promoting healthy relationships and safe environments for them to thrive.

This role requires a strong background in child abuse prevention, domestic abuse intervention, and maternal or child health. You must have at least two years of direct work experience in these areas, along with a current and active license as an LCSW, LMFT, or RN. A bachelor's degree in nursing or a master's degree in social work or counseling is also required.

Responsibilities include conducting home visits, providing parenting programs, respite care, and supervised playtime for children. You will assess developmental milestones, identify risk factors, and develop strategies to promote positive relationships within the family unit. Your ability to communicate effectively, both in person and over the phone, is essential for success in this role.

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,225 - $75,335, depending on your qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life, and voluntary insurance options.
