Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an ABA Therapist - Autism Support Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting clients in reaching their goals.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, to support your career growth and well-being.

About the Role

In this role, you will work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA
  • Providing direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in various settings, such as home, school, or community
  • Collecting and recording data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection methods
  • Assisting clients in acquiring and mastering skills across various domains, including communication, social interaction, self-help, and academic skills
  • Implementing behavior management strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field is a plus
  • Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members
