Job Summary

Genentech is seeking a Senior Diversity and Inclusion Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our Chief Diversity Office, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing the diversity and inclusion strategy for our business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate diversity and inclusion within business practices, aiming to attract, engage, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Identify and address diversity and inclusion needs through data analysis, building strong relationships and collaborating with business units to implement initiatives that create an optimal work environment for everyone.
  • Act as program management lead on all CDO D&I initiatives, ensuring the prompt execution of initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders to embed enterprise-wide program initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and advice to stakeholders on increasing diversity awareness and establishing initiatives to ensure the inclusion of underrepresented candidates in hiring, promotion, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with People and Culture colleagues to optimize people practices that strengthen diversity and/or a feeling of inclusion/belonging.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical management, organizational development, and/or HR-related field.
  • 8 to 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to diagnose issues/needs and develop appropriate strategies and actions to address the needs.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal communication, written communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Program and project management skills to lead and/or manage work across the D&I team/community, across the enterprise, or with key business stakeholders.
