Postdoctoral Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Associate/Fellow to join our team at the University of Minnesota's Institute on the Biology of Aging and Metabolism. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects focused on the biology of aging and metabolism, with a particular emphasis on the Geroscience hypothesis.
Responsibilities- Conduct independent research in the laboratory, designing and executing experiments to investigate the mechanisms of aging and age-related diseases.
- Collaborate with our team of researchers to develop and implement new research projects and ideas.
- Present research findings at national and international conferences, and publish papers in top-tier scientific journals.
- Train and mentor junior scientists, including graduate students and undergraduate researchers.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology or a related field, with a strong background in aging research and experience working with murine models of disease. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
