About the Job

The University of Minnesota's Institute on the Biology of Aging and Metabolism is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate/Fellow to join our team. As a key member of our research group, you will contribute to our understanding of the fundamental biology of aging and its impact on age-related diseases.

Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct experiments to investigate the mechanisms of aging and age-related diseases using murine models.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify novel approaches to understanding aging and age-related diseases.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement new research projects and ideas.
  • Communicate research findings through presentations, posters, and manuscripts.
  • Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the development of their research skills.
Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology or a related field. Experience with murine models of disease, behavioral studies in mice, and cell culture is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
