Postdoctoral Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join our research team at the University of Minnesota. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cancer biology and immunology, with expertise in cellular immunotherapy techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct independent research under the mentorship of senior investigators, focusing on cancer cellular immunotherapy.
- Design and execute experiments to investigate mechanisms of immune resistance in cancer cells and develop strategies to overcome these barriers.
- Utilize advanced cellular and molecular techniques to develop novel immunotherapy for enhanced anti-tumor activity.
- Perform in vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate the efficacy and safety of experimental immunotherapies.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data using statistical methods and present findings at internal meetings and scientific conferences.
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong background in cancer biology and immunology, with expertise in cellular immunotherapy techniques.
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, flow cytometry, and animal models of cancer.
- Track record of productivity demonstrated by first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Motivation to pursue independent research projects and contribute creatively to scientific discovery.
