We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves a combination of administrative and clinical tasks, including measuring vital signs, managing electronic health records (EHR), performing phlebotomy, and assisting with medical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and nurses during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
  • Perform routine clinical tasks such as measuring vital signs, administering injections, and drawing blood (phlebotomy).
  • Accurately record patient information and medical histories in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
  • Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment before procedures.
  • Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and maintain communication with patients and their families.
  • Ensure that examination rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patients.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role within the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in measuring vital signs and performing phlebotomy.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Familiarity with medical procedures and terminologies.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-focused approach.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
