Job Title: Early Childhood Development and Assessment Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Development and Assessment Psychologist to join our team at Phoenix Children's Hospital. As a key member of our psychology department, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans for children with autism spectrum disorder and related behavioral health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support for children and their families
  • Provide training and supervision to psychology graduate students, interns, and fellows
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research studies to advance the field of pediatric psychology
Requirements:
  • PhD or PsyD in psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • APA-accredited internship with specialization in child psychology or related field
  • Specialized training in autism spectrum disorder and related conditions
  • Experience working with children and families in a clinical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postdoctoral fellowship experience
  • Experience working in hospitals and academic medical centers
  • Experience providing evidence-based interventions for children with autism spectrum disorder
  • Interest in conducting quality improvement or clinical research
