Developmental Psychologist

Southwest Human Development is seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with young children ages birth to 5 and their families to provide comprehensive assessments and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in transdisciplinary team assessments to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Administer, score, and interpret psychological and developmental tools for young children, with a focus on autism spectrum disorder evaluations
- Collaborate with team members to synthesize assessment results and develop integrated treatment plans
- Complete comprehensive reports and provide treatment recommendations and connections to community services
- Counsel families regarding assessment findings and impressions
- Doctorate in Clinical or School Psychology
- Licensed Psychologist in the state of Arizona
- Post-doctoral experience in evaluations with children birth to 5 years
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a trans-disciplinary setting
- Experience using relationship-based approaches to treatment and assessment
- Experience working with young children ages 0-5 with Autism
- Knowledge and assessment of trauma in young children
- Familiarity with the DIR and DIRFloortime intervention
